Topics
The Symposium is meant to serve as a venue for Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate students across Western Canada to share their work with their peers. Oral and poster presentation content should be aimed at a general audience. You may submit abstracts presented at other conferences. Suggested topics include:
- Overview of your research project
- Entrepreneurship in your research
- Overview of your research field or program
- Bridging the academic-industry gap
Abstract Details
Abstracts between 400 and 600 words can be submitted online by clicking on the Register button in the toolbar above. Figures are permitted provided they can all fit in an area of 4.5"x7.5". If you would prefer, abstracts can also be submitted directly by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Any of the commonly available Office Suite formats or LaTeX format are acceptable, but the 400-600 word limit still applies. If you choose this submission method, please make sure to register to attend the conference via the online form.
Abstracts submitted to national/international conferences are acceptable, as are posters presented at these conferences. We ask however that oral presentations be edited to fit the time allotment and anticipated audience.
